This is a Software development project aimed primarily at restaurants business’s, designed to improve both operational efficiency for the business and improve the management perspective; sought to develop better strategic business functional and marketing aspects.
It allows administrator to create software users (Staff), and ability to create and manage own restaurant menus. Having developed LIVE kitchen views and portable capabilities, it allows end staff to take orders on the Windows Mobile wireless portable computers (or equivalent specification), sending completed orders to the Kitchen View as they are completed. Also placed orders can be recalled to review bill and accepts payment ID to complete the transaction and archive the order.
In the Kitchen, Live Orders Grid allows easy viewing by table number, and Time Stamp. In addition countdown timer is started to reflect the length of the preparation time.
Manager View reflects the more important aspects where administration is concerned. They are able to administer User, Administer Menus, as well as view Reporting View. Reporting is concerned displaying archived orders summaries, for the upper management level. It is capable to sort in ascending orders various details of the report.
Software Administrator can make global software settings changes and also create new restaurant branches for managers to manage. Also Administrator can administer user rights for the management personnel.
